Dr. Katsevman
Biography
Dr. Katsevman “CATS-ev-man” was born in Ukraine and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate and medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago, where he graduated with Honors in Bioethics & Professionalism. He completed neurosurgery residency at West Virginia University followed by fellowship training in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.
During his childhood, his family vacationed in Florida, and he realized that Chicago winters weren’t for him. He joined Neuroscience and Spine Associates (NASA) in Naples, Florida in 2022, and was awarded "Top Doctor in Naples” in 2024 in the field of Neurosurgery.
Throughout his training, he has participated in clinical research, publishing over 30 peer-reviewed papers. His specialty interests include minimally invasive techniques, motion preservation surgery (i.e., disc replacement), and robotics/navigation technology, all with the goal of returning patients back to doing things they love and living the lifestyles they desire. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Katsevman sees patients throughout all of Southwest Florida, including Charlotte, Lee, and Collier counties. Our primary office is in Naples and secondary office is in Fort Myers. We have treated patients from Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Babcock Ranch, Cape Coral, Bokeelia, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, Immokalee, Ava Maria, Naples, and Marco Island. Patients have travelled from across the country as well, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Colorado, and California. We have also treated several international patients, including those from Canada, Mexico, and Colombia.
